January 2014: The University of Toronto announces a free rock concert for its students. Having seen the ads plastered on street-side lampposts, and on the walls of student centers, prospective partygoers take an evening’s break from their academic toil and make their way into the antiquated Hart House hall, filling the air with small-talk and anticipation.
